Here are the results for the Seniors Stableford.

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY PAID YOUR POUND ENTRY FOR THE KNOCKOUT PLEASE DO SO ASAP.

ALSO PLEASE ENSURE YOU LET MIKE STIELL KNOW OF THE RESULT OF YOUR MATCHES.

DEADLINE FOR FIRST ROUND IS 31ST JULY 

I will not be here next week and Phil Upperton has kindly agreed to do the draw for me.

Please sign up in the clubhouse for next Thursday.

All of the sheets for the month of August are now available in the Seniors's Folder.

Also note that we are going to have a drawn 4 ball better competition on Tuesday 1st September its a 1 day contest to replace the doubles knockout.

Some of you have tee times already booked in the am, so I did not include you in the draw.

Please note the Senior Knockout draw as well, remember there are time constraints on it so don't hesitate to contact the other player regardless of your position on the draw.

Senior Gents Knockout Draw

Here is the Senior Gents Knockout Draw, It will also be posted on the Seniors Notice Board.

IMPORTANT INFO.

1 It is £1 entry, a lot have already paid and I will try to catch up with everybody to ensure we are on track.

2 It is Full difference handicap. Low H-cap to zero and the other plays off the difference.

3 Yellow Tee's only.

4 As we are limited by the pandemic we can offer NO extensions if you do not play in the time frame allocated, a coin will be tossed by the senior convenor to establish who goes through.

5 After your match please let Mike Stiell know the result so that we can keep a legible draw on the wall.

Draw for Thursday 9th July

Hello Everyone, we are a bit more back to normal as we go on.
REMEMBER IF YOU WISH TO BE INCLUDED IN THE SENIOR SINGLES KNOCKOUT PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.
This week is a Stableford (the medal is next week)!
I hope I have managed to get you all included that wished, if I have missed anyone please let me know and I will try to get it sorted out.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Greetings to you all,  I hope this finds you well its great to be back with a bit of competition golf, and nice to see you all at the club.

I have created a list of people signing up for competitions but I am sure I don't have you all. If you are unsure then please don't hesitate to contact me. Also if you signed up for last Thursday (the 2nd) and haven't stated that you want in all the Thursdays then I will not have you on my list.

We are also running a Seniors knockout for the remainder of the season so if you are interested in that then please drop me a note to state that you are in.

Hopefully the draw will be about the 10th of July so not long to get your name in.

This coming Thursday will be another stableford and then we get into a medal.

As you may have noticed from the results this last week I have introduced a 50/50 split for the divisions so the split mark will depend on the handicaps of the people entering the competitions.

Some important points required on the scorecard:

1   Your name!

2   Date the scoring may not happen immediately due to current restrictions and there are other competitions on. So the date will help to clarify.

3  Competition name same details as above

4  Scoring clarity  Please when possible mark your own score as Player A and the player you are monitoring as the marker, this will prevent a wrong score being entered for you.

5  Sign your card I know a minor detail as you are scoring yourself but it is a good habit to get into.

Results for the Seniors 2nd July

Here are the results for the Seniors for the 2nd July.

28 played today and I have introduced a divisional split that will mean its an even split of numbers between them. This will only happen if there are at least 24 playing, if there are under 24 then it will be one division. The 2's money will be applied to the whole field.

THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE STABLEFORDS, THE MEDALS WILL STAND AS EXISTING.

I have started a list of people who wish to be put into every Thursday draw and will contact me if they cannot make it. Please contact me to be added to this list.

We did well to get round in good weather today and some not bad scores out there.

There were no 2's recorded so that means a carry over of £14:00 to next week.
