Revised Captains Drive In Draw

Captains Drive In on Saturday 1st April 2023

Dear Senior gents.

For those down to play on Saturday, could you turn up from 09.30am onwards.

This is to give you time to buy your flags and place them on the first fairway / rough, where you think the Captains drives will finish up. Closest gets the prize.

The Captains will drive off at 10.45, then you make your way to your allotted tee for the 11.00 Shotgun start.

Please wear either a red (Captains) or Blue top (Vice Captains) as team colours.

Senior Singles and Pairs Better Ball Knockout Competitions 2023

The 2023 Senior Knockout competitions are now available for your entries.

Book online on How Did I Do in the Knockout section.

Entry fee is £1.00 per Knockout. Place entry monies in an envelope in the Seniors box please with your name and which competition (s) you are entering.

Entries close on the 12th April 2023 and the draw, and round completion dates, will be posted on the Seniors Board in the Clubhouse thereafter.

Course maintenance update - Pitch marks.

With the course still very wet and with summer greens coming into use, it is imperative for good housekeeping that we all take responsibility to repair our own and any other pitch marks identified on the greens.

Please follow the line of your shot onto the greens and carry out the important maintenance.

It all helps with the putting!!!!!!!

Past Captain - David Grant's funeral details

For those Senior members who wish to pay their respects for our past captain- David Grant, then the funeral will take place at Perth Crematorium on Friday 24th March at 4pm.

Senior Stableford Thursday 16th March Cancelled

Although the course was open, playing winter greens with No buggies, no-one wished to play in such awful weather. Match was therefore cancelled.

Stay warm and stay safe. Try again next week.

With summer golf due at the start of April, look out for different time zones for competitions. Depending on your life style, times will be available morning, noon and evening for you to compete as an individual. Team events will be one time zone only, usually mornings. Just be sure you book into the zone for the time you wish to play. Competitions will continue to be drawn events to ensure the integrity of the competition.

On the administration side, can you all follow the set up on the score card i.e. enter actual score in first box, then actual score minus handicap index in the next box and finally the points scored. Can you also circle any 2's scored to help identify them. Please also sign both score cards as either the marker or the competitor.
