Senior Greensome results for Thursday 25th May 2023
28 Seniors (14 Pairs) played in sunny conditions with a little breeze. Greens were exceptionally fast.
Despite handicaps being fairly balanced across the teams, scoring was quite wide spread with only 4 Pairs beating Par.
The Winners were - Stewart Baillie and Brian Forrest with a 63.8, winning £7.00 each.
2nd was - Neil Rae and Jim Henvey, with a 66.2, winning £4.50 each.
3rd place - Stewart McLaren and Hector Campbell with a 67.2, winning £2.50 each.
Again, the standard of scorecard marking was good. Both Marker and Player must sign cards as per R&A Rules.
Next week we are back to a Stableford, so get signed up now. 3 time zones are available for the Drawn event at 08.45. 12.15 and 17.00.

Pitlochry Away Match Sunday 28th May 2023

The Club require three (3) players to play away at Pitlochry this Sunday coming, the 28th May. Cost is £20.00 for coffee, bacon roll, round of golf and a meal at the end.

Senior Nick Farr Trophy results for Thursday 18th May 2023
Congratulations Seniors for the improved standard of cards submitted. The new printed stickers have helped but remember the R&A Rules require that the tee box played from is indicated and that both marker and player sign the cards.
Unfortunately, several Seniors have played their first Singles ties but I have no evidence that they have paid their entry fee of £1. Some Doubles fees are also outstanding. I will contact the individuals concerned to clarify the situation and proceed accordingly.
The results and prize monies (confirmation of monies paid to be confirmed) would be -
Division 1 - 23 players
1st - Brian McGowan with a great 67 winning £11.50
2nd - Derek Glen, 69, £7.50
3rd - Raymond Pollock, 70 BIH, £4.00
Division 2 - 14 players
1st - Neil Nicholson (AGAIN), 69 winning £7.00
2nd - Robert Adams, 71, £4.50
3rd - Bill Morton, 72, £2.50
Two's - 5 players - Brian Forrest on the 4th, Neil Nicholson and Mark Tunstall 6th, Derek Glen 13th and Sandy McGibbon 17th.. they all win £3.70 each.

Senior results for May Medal on Thursday 11th May 2023
39 bookings resulted in 35 players on the day. The weather was sunny, hot with minimal breeze.
Division One results -
1st - Sandy Clark scoring 68 and winning £11.50
2nd - Ian Cameron 69 BIH winning £7.50
3rd - James Ure 69 winning £4.00
Division Two results-
1st - Dr. Donald Gemmell with a 72, winning £6.00
2nd - Neil Nicholson 73, winning £4.00
3rd - Bernhard Kuerbihs 74, winning £2.00
Two's - 4 were recorded and with a rollover from last week, the lucky guys are -
Neil Nicholson on the 4th and Chris Upton, Ian Cameron and James Ure on the 13th. All win £9.00 each.
Data is added to the Senior Order of Merit tables to decide our annual Gross and Nett Champion for 2023.
