On a superb October day 32 golfers played with some outstanding scores and a plethora of 2's.

With a bit of a cold start but ultimately a good day, we had 9 groups go out for the Texas Scramble.

The medal has been postponed to Next Thursday as today was played on all winter greens and therefore was a non counting stableford.
23 Played in what turned out to be a very nice morning, we played with 75% handicap on the full scorecard.

Results of The Match V Royal Montrose

A very enjoyable day was had by all, unfortunately the greens have been punched and made for some tricky putting ( a very important work schedule item and it did not detract from the day).
With the usual Strathmore wind and a few squalls interspersed throughout the round, Strathmore prevailed to win the match 4 1/2 to 3 1/2. So maybe putting was a factor!!!!!!!!
A truly enjoyable day played in great spirits with outstanding food from our wonderful catering kitchen again. Well done to the girls for organising the orders despite a few confused people.
Thanks to all who played, this was our last interclub of the year. It looks good for continuing onto next year.

A huge thank you to Phil Upperton for all of his work in the last 3 years, Phil was Captain of the day today for the last time so it was very special that we secured a victory for him.

26 Played in a chilly start (First frost of the year).
It warmed up and was a dry day.
The 2's were a carry over from last week, hence the bigger payout shared by 4 players.
