1st Division 1 to 18

 was won by Phil Upperton with 40 points - £9

 2nd was Fred Barber with 38 points - £5 

2nd Division 19 to 32

was won by Bill West with 38 points (on count back) - £16 

2nd was Antony Pleasance 38 points (on count back) - £8

There were no two's. Big turn out next week?

 2nd was Steve Saunders (on count back) with 36 points - £5 

2nd Division 19 to 32

was won by Ernie Wastell with 34 points (on count back) - £14 

2nd was Ian Brogan with a 34 points (on count back) - £7

My time as Seniors Convener will end on the 1st October this year. Mark Melville and the Gents committee are in the process of finding a suitable replacement. If any of you would like to throw your hat in the ring please contact any member of the Committee.

It has been a pleasure running the Seniors section over the last two years ably assisted by Steve . We have a very strong senior section within the club enjoying large attendances every Thursday. We benefit from a wide range of handicaps and strong personalities which bring life to the section.

I would like to thank Steve, Sandy McGibbon, and Ian Scott for all their help and advice over the past two years. I'd especially like to thank John Brand, who has always rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in counting the pennies submitted on the day for the competitions and matches. He has also provided other invaluable support to me throughput my term as Seniors Convenor.

I have moved the October medal from the 4th October to 11 October to accommodate the temporary greens which will be in play on 4 October.

RESULTS OF TEXAS SCRAMBLE 16th AUGUST 2018

On a a warm sunny day 41 played a good turn out again and an enjoyable day.

Runners up

 was won by W McDonald with a net 67 - £15

 2nd was Fred Barber with a net 69 (after count back) - £9 

2nd Division 19 to 32

was won by J Brand with a net 70 - £13 

2nd was N Nicholson with a net 72 (on count back) - £8

Peter at Aberfeldy has just e mailed me and said he can’t get a team together for Monday and will need to cancel.

I have asked David to send an email to the Seniors to that effect. 

I have also asked David to leave 3 separate tee from 12 though in case any of you want to have a bounce game.
