Seniors away day at Elmwood Golf Course

I think a good day was had by all.
Although a tiring golf course it was a very good course.

Winners were

Golfers trophy for best stroke play was Ian Scott
A worthy winner considering his low handicap.
The crystal bowl for best stableford points was Eric Gray.

Nearest to pin on the 9th was Sandy Robertson.
Nearest to pin on second shot par 4 was Jack Rough.
Longest drive was won by Sandy McGibbon.
Only 1 2 was recorded this by Gordon Wood.

1st Division Was won by Ian Scott with 33 points
2nd was Sandy McGibbon with 29 points after a count back.
2nd Division was won by Eric Gray with 30 points
2nd was Ian Strachan with 29 points

Best first 9 was won by Stewart Morrison with 18 points
Best back 9 was won by Ian Strachan

Highest score on a hole was by Andy Fairweather this was a 10.
This was equalled by Eric Gray
Never a good thing to win was the booby prize won by Joe Mcgeoghaneon.
