With the weather forecast to be anything but dry from Mid Day onwards we were lucky to get most of the field in before the skies opened just after 2.30.
The course was in good condition but playing long as a result of the rain that had fallen overnight.
Sandy McGibbon continued his good run over the last month or so with 34 points and took the individual prize on a count back from Jim Ross. Look after the Mike Dower Bowl Sandy, it has to be returned, enjoy the Grouse.
In the team competition Sandy appears to have again been a major contributor to the 76 points amassed by him and his playing partners, David Dawson and Norman Fenwick. Well done lads.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the experience with Edzell proving trunps in not only course condition but also the meal and the service provided.
