Result - Seniors Match v Kirriemuir

On Friday 26th, Strathmore Seniors visited Kirriemuir for our annual friendly fixture.

Despite  a chilly breeze, the weather was kind to us. 

Although we had a promising start, the overall result was a 4-2 win for Kirriemuir. 

There is one match left for this season, the rearranged match at Alyth on Monday 6th October. Sign up sheet is on the seniors notice board.

Sally Fenner - Tree planting in her memory.

Sally's tree planting is next Saturday 4th October at 5pm.  Sally's family are gathering to scatter her ashes on her beloved golf course and the ladies section are planting a cherry tree in her memory at the same time at the 6th tee. 

We will be gathering for 5pm at the 6th tee - all members across the gents, ladies, senior and junior sections are invited. 

Arrive in time to get yourselves down to the 6th tee for 5pm.

Result - Strathmore Seniors v Forfar.

Today, Strathmore Seniors travelled to Forfar to take on our Forfar counterparts. 

The weather looked pretty grim on our way up north but thankfully, the rain eased, and the last groups even saw a blink of sun in the closing holes. 

Although all the matches were close, the result was a 4-2 win to Forfar. Thank you to all who played today.
