Seniors are reminded that for handicap counting competitions (Strokeplay, Stableford etc), the hole is finished when the player has putted out. NO GIMMES or disqualification applies.
30 Seniors played on a cool, windy day but at least the rain held off. Big error in Administration for missing the £1.00 entry boxes on the sign in sheet, but we'll survive.
Prizes shared out across Scratch, Handicap and Stableford with no one team gaining more than one prize.

Due to an administrative error, only 30 places were available for this Thursday. I have tweaked the system to allow for more Seniors to book. So you can still add your name signing up as usual on Club V1 or the Centre PSI computer.
Friday 23rd August 2024 sees the Strathmore Gents Section run a 2 person Mixed Texas Scramble Open.
Teetimes are from 7am to 4pm so we expect hundreds of competitors through the day.
Volunteers are required to help run the event (registration, scorers, raffle sellers etc) If you can spare a few hours throughout the day then contact a Committee member or sign up on the Notice Board.
Also - Raffle Prizes would be gratefully accepted for the day. Hand in your raffle prize to the Centre or the Senior Convenor (Keith Ewan).
Sponsorship is also welcome.
Players are still required for the 2023 return match against Pitlochry at Home on Sunday 26th May 2024 at 10.45.

Seniors have until Midnight on Sunday 19th May 2024 to complete their Preliminary rounds of the Senior Singles and Blind Doubles Knockout Competitions.
I still do not have any evidence of some Seniors having paid their £1.00 entry for each of the above competitions. I appreciate that I am dealing with Seniors but you MUST know if you have entered online or on the Club PSI and then remembered to fill in a brown envelope with your details and monies! You may have confused your entry with the gents competitions. Disqualifications may ensue and byes given, which is not ideal.
There is NO Senior competition next Thursday, the 16th May 2024, due to a Centre facilitated Scottish Seniors Spring Meeting. The next Senior competition is a Non counting Greensome on Thursday 23rd May 2024.
