HERE IS THE DRAW FOR THURSDAY. THIS IS A TEXAS SCRAMBLE AND YES ITS 5 DRIVES EACH!!!!

IT IS UNSURE AT THE MOMENT IF IT WILL BE THE WHOLE COURSE OR IF THERE WILL BE WINTER GREENS DUE TO THE MAINTENANCE GOING ON.

UPDATE ON THE FOLLOWING FEW WEEKS

Here is an update for the following few weeks:

As most of you know the October Medal was cancelled due to the course being closed.

This has been rescheduled for the 14th of October weather permitting, hopefully we will get to see you all out there competing for the last medal of the year.

This coming Thursday 7th is a fun Texas Scramble, this is due to the fact that important course maintenance is being carried out and we may have a couple of winter greens to play too.  Sign up as usual and Brian and I will do the draw.

Our season closing competition will be held on the 21st October. We are having a 2 Tee start and a hearty, Pie, Beans and chips meal after the round we will also be doing the Award presentations at that time. Make sure you book early to get your spot as it will be limited!!!!

The results for the survey are in and with about 50% of the senior membership taking part:

Here are the results:

1 64% voted for the competitions to remain as they are.

    24% wanted more fun non counting competitions

    16% wanted more counting competitions

2    67% stated that 6 Interclub competitions were enough

    18% wanted more Interclub competitions

    14% stated they didn't play in them

3    73% want it where you can only play in the competition if you are in the draw.

    27% voted for playing at any time

4    82% stated they view the blog regularly

    14% wanted more info on the blog

    5% wanted another social media eg Facebook

5    50% stated that 3 meals per year for Senior section is good.

    5% Not interested in meals

    37% stated the meals were a good way to meet members

    9% think 2 Meals would be enough

6    72% said they would be interested in a week long Yellow tee competition within the golf season.

    24% said no to this

    4% said they would rather play their own bounce games.

We will do review of these results at the Season closing tournament with the meal and Prize awards.

At the closing competition we will have a meeting not an AGM but we will discuss the upcoming season and will be welcoming your comments.
