SEPTEMBER MONTHLY MEDAL RESULTS

This was the September Monthly Medal. Stroke play off yellow tees to summer greens.
A very warm day and evening.

38 played and 38 in sweep.
35 played in morning and 3 in evening.

Two divisions 18 and under and 19 to 36.

Division 1

This was won by Gary McLuskey Nett 66 - £9 
2nd was Norman Dyce Nett 69 - £5

Division 2

This was won by Antoney Pleasance Nett 69 - £15
2nd was Mike Offen Nett 70 - £9

Important

The match on the 23rd September against the ladies has been postponed to the 30th September in agreement with the ladies Captain due to Jim Ross funeral being on that day.

Winner of the singles competition Gary McLuskey who beat Steve Saunders in the final.

Winners of the doubles competition Ian Scott and Paul Lothian who beat Norman Dyce and Bill McGregor in final.

1st was Brian Duncan with 37 points - £10
2nd was Bill Bruce with 36 points - £6

Away day.

28 played at the Seniors away day at St Michael's golf course and an enjoyable day was had. The course was in excellent condition and we were well looked after. The weather was kind to us and we managed to keep dry.

Brian Duncan won the competition with a total of 35 points.

Gary McLuskey was nearest the pin at the 15th.

Ian Scott had the longest drive on the 18th.

Well done to all.

I've spoken to Mike Stiell and I know he is intending to arrange an away day next year. If you have any suggestions of a suitable golf course for next years event, let him know.

This was a 4 club challenge off yellow tees and stableford

No divisions
1st was Ian McLeod with 39 points
2nd was Gilmour Ivey with 34 points
3rd was Stephen MacKenzie with 33 points
Gordon Whyte also with 33 points lost on count back

Only 1 two today by Mike Offen on the 17th
28 played on mostly a dry day

Information

The team lost to Grange & Broughty 5 and 3 but won against Murrayshall  4 and 2. Well done.

A good turn out for the Seniors Convenors day. 32 played in a Texas Scramble competition and had an excellent meal afterwards.
