This was a counting  Stableford playing off yellow tees to summer greens

On a windy day with rain 16 hardy souls played.

One division.

Was won by John Stiell with 36 points - £10.50 
2nd was Mark Melville with 33 points - £5.50

2  two's where recorded.

Seniors away day 10th September

I have paid St Michael's Golf Club the deposit for our away day in September. Can you please make  sure you all give me your deposit ASAP and tick the menu to indicate your choice of meal on the sheet which is in the front of the Seniors folder.

Inter Club matches

We lost away at the Grange/Broughty Ferry but had a 4 all draw away at Royal Montrose which is a very good result.

We won at home yesterday against Fofar 4 and 3, well done a good team effort.

Two divisions 18 and under and 19 to 36.

This was won by Ian Scott with 37 points - £7 
2nd was Sandy McGibbon with 35 points - £3

Division 2

This was won by Stuart Foy with 38 points - £16.
2nd was Brian Forrest with 37 points - £8.

Seniors Draw 9th May 2019

Seniors - Inter Club matches.

Strathmore lost heavily at Murrayshall but won 4 and 2 at Arbroath which is a very good result on their home ground.

We had the pleasure of watching a steam train go buy on a sunny day. The food was excellent, course very good and no wind.

Well done to everybody who took part.

SENIORS AWAY DAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2019

I have finalised arrangements with St Michaels for our away day in September.

The tees have been booked and I have arranged for two tee start times commencing at 13:00 bacon rolls at 12:15.

The cost for tea/coffee and bacon roll, one round of golf and a two course meal is £33 per golfer, with a deposit of £20 per golfer required before the end of May.

The menu is:

Steak pie

Fish and chips

Mediterranean pork chop

Salad

Chocolate fudge cake

Black forest gateaux

If you have other dietary requirements please let me know as soon as possible.

I have put a sheet in the Seniors folder with the names of everyone who has indicated that they wish to go. Please advise your meal preference by ticking the relevant boxes beside your name and indicate on the sheet if you need a buggy. Your deposit should be put in an envelope marked "Away Day" and with your name written on the front and placed in the Seniors box.

If you wish to come and your name is not down I have left space at the end of the sheet for you to insert your name neatly.

35 played on a reasonable day with only one shower mid way ( many more were forecast )
