33 members played on a windy squally day.

Division 1 (20 and under)

 was won by Phil Upperton with 40 points - £10

 2nd was Steve Saunders with 37 points - £6 

Division 1 (21 and over)

 was won by Bill West with 42 points - £11

 2nd was Gordon Whyte (after count back) with 42 points - £6 

 There were two two's.

Seniors result against the ladies.

The Seniors team won back the trophy today (much deserved). Well done to all ladies and Seniors who supported the event. We had an excellent match/day played in good weather and with excellent banter through out.

One division

 was won by Fred Barber with 37 points - £15

 2nd was Sandy McGibbon with 36 points - £9 

 3rd was Gary McLusky  (after count back) with 34 points - £5

IMPORTANT

The result of the away match at Kirriemuir was that we lost 3.5 to 4.5. Well done to everybody who played in some demanding conditions.

Team to meet at 11:45 at Forfar for the away match unless you want to get there earlier for two bacon rolls. First tee at 12:30.

I have spoken to Sally and we will do the draw on the day for the Seniors V ladies match this Monday. Please get there for about 09:15 for a 10:00 kick off.

 was won by Ian Cameron with 39 points - £10

 2nd was Dave Leiper with 37 points (on count back) - £7 

2nd Division 21 to 32

was won by Jim Milne with 34 points- £12 

2nd was John MacFarlane with 34 points (on count back) - £8

Reminder

If you have a bad round or come off due to inclement weather etc I still require you to enter any scores that you have had into the V1 system or put your card signed in the Seniors box. Every score affects the CSS of the competition and the remaining players handicaps.

If, due to unforseen circumstances you are unable to play on the day, please phone the Centre after 8am on the Thursday morning, so I can change order of play if required.

Finally, please all try to keep up with the group in front of you. I appreciate that we are all different ages with different levels of ability however we can all observe basic rules:

•  don't mark your card on the green, move off and mark it at the next tee 
• be ready to play when it is your turn 
• if necessary let the group behind through.
