Match against Royal Perth

The match was played over the Rosemount course.
We had a very good lunch at their Club house in Perth.
Unfortunately we lost 6 to 0.
The course was in very good condition but we did have many very heavey showers which
spoiled the game, this is not an excuse for our loss.

DRESS CODE FOR ROYAL PERTH CLUB

The latest information I have received is that Tuesday is jacket day
( but not with a tie necessarily )  their captain says that we will be okay in tidy
golf gear ;  but maybe we want to throw a jacket over the golf shirt ?

This was the July Monthly Medal And Nick Farr Trophy

Division 1 was won by Garry McLusky with a net 63
2nd was Brian Groom with a net 66

Division 2 was won by Pat Duffy with a net 67
2nd was Bill Bruce with a net 68

Overall winner of the Medal was Garry McLusky
He also wins the Nick Farr Trophy

RESULT OF MATCH AGAINST ARBROATH

On a hot steamy day Strathmore battled against the
super handicapped Arbroath team ( golf  ones ).
Unfortunately  we came up wanting and lost 4 - 2.
The main bright light was that Bob and Eric came up
trumps again - There is no stopping them well done as
for the rest the only other success came from Phil
and Steve.
Have to hand captainship back to John !
