MERRY XMAS & HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL IN 2009

Team 12 with Peter Barnett, Alex Sutherland, Jack Gillison and Jim Pert won the last contest of the year with a net 36 on a count back from Team 4 of Gordon Ewen, David Robinson and Archie Mitchell.

38 participated in the golf and 43 in a superb lunch supplied by the magicians of the centre's kitchen.

I trust that everyone had a great day and our gratitude goes to the weather man who gave us the best of the weather for the round.

Many thanks go to Dave and his team at the centre in the shop, bar, restaurant and especially on the course for a fantastic 2008 on a course that has come on leaps and bounds.

Thanks also go to all 72 members who competed in our competitions through the year and represented the club in club matches.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year and wishing you a very Merry Xmas, Happy New Year and hopefully a Prosperous 2009.

Seniors TURKEY TROT - Thursday 18th December FINAL GROUPINGS

Due to last minute entries and withdrawals there have been several changes to the groupings previously listed. Unfortunately the numbers have not increased to give us an extra 3 ball but remained the same.

Same format as last year - Texas Scramble over a shortened 12 hole course.

2 Tee Start with the first 6 groups off the first tee from 10.00am onwards and subsequent groups from the 10th(from 10.15am).

The total cost for the day will be GBP 17.00 including the Meal, Gratuity and Sweep and should be paid at the centre shop NOW (no cash on the day)

Minimum 2 drives from each player.
