On a splendid day for golf with a moderate northerly wind to replace the gales of the last few months the fourth team out of the blocks consisting of Len Scott, Jack Rough and Ron Haynes carded a splendid 78 points to take the spoils.

Due to a difference in numbers of Seniors and Ladies we will be playing 10 x 4ball Teams and 3 x 3 ball teams.

For the 4 ball teams the team handicap will be calculated by taking the sum of the 4 players' individual handicaps and dividing by 10. For the 3 balls the handicap is calculated by taking 1/6th of the sum of the 3 individual handicaps.

SENIORS' AWAY DAY

The Seniors' Away Day is now fixed for Wednesday the 20th of August at EDZELL, tee offs from 10.00am onwards.

The cost of the day, including the traditional Bacon Roll and Cup of Coffee before the start and a two course meal after the golf has been completed will be Forty Pounds.

A sheet will be put up shortly to collect names of those wishing to play.
