Results for the Seniors Bogey Competition 29th August.

39 players booked in to play and 39 did, 33 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon.

There were 4 2’s. Keith Ewan and John Stewart on the 6th, Donnie Nairn and Ian Ballantyne on the 13th winning £4.50 each.

Next week the Club hosts the 2023 Scottish Golf Pairs Challenge Week. Because of this, next Thursday’s Tee Times had to be adjusted accordingly. Morning Times will be earlier, between 07:22 until 09:07. Afternoon and Evening slots are available. 


We are still looking for players for our annual British Disabled Match on 10th September. Sign Up is on HowDidIDo.

Seniors required for British Disabled Match 10th September 2024

 Seniors.

 

It is near time for the annual match against the British Disabled Golfers. The match is on the Tuesday 10th September 2024. They entertain us to a meal after the game. If you think you struggle on the golf course, you will be amazed how these golfers handle it. Amazing to see. Sign up on the Centre terminal or on How Did I Do App.


The Senior Convenor, Keith, is off to Spain for the next 2 weeks so Ian Cameron is covering for the draws over that time. see you after the 13th September.

Senior Gents Bogey Competition on Thursday 29th August 2024

 Hi Seniors. 

We have had to put back the tee times for Thursday to accomodate a helicopter landing at the Club with guests for the Lands of Loyal.

 

 

Seniors - for the following weeks Stableford, the morning tee times have been moved forward to accomodate the Scottish Pairs Challenge event. This was an oversight by the Centre. The first tee time is 07.22 finishing at 09.07.

Results for the Senior Gents August Monthly Medal held on Thursday 22nd August 2024

29 Seniors booked to play and 27 did. This number is significantly down on previous Strokeplay events and can only assume that this is down to holiday season.

Senior Gents Draw for the August Monthly Medal on the 22nd August 2024

First of all a giant thank you to Paul Lothian, Alan McHattie, John Mill, Stewart McLaren, Keith Ewan for the donation of Raffle prizes for Fridays Open event.

results for the Senior Stableford played on Thursday 15th August 2024

43 Seniors booked to play and 23 did. Call offs were due to illness, hospitalisation and eventually the weather. Severe heavy rain came in late morning / lunchtime. Some hardy souls are to be commended on staying out.
